Prices of Steel are
coming down yet again today Thursday and there could be more coming down next
week. We are now near 6 years lows, as is gasoline. Copper is also
at multi year lows. It is possible metal prices (and gasoline) could stay
this low, or even lower for many months.
We are hoping we are
close to the end of this move down, but at this time, we believe steel will be
down further next week. Copper may also drift lower in coming
weeks. As for when this may go back up, we do not know. We are
hoping thing could stabilize in about May. See the below article on

Half of Chinese Copper Tube/Pipe Producers Bearish towards Copper Price

BEIJING (SMM): Half of Chinese copper tube/pipe producers hold bearish views over near-term copper price outlook, SMM finds in its latest survey of 20 producers.
The US dollar index rose sharply following the European Central Bank’s announcement of QE, and weak crude oil and euro zone economy are dampening sentiment.
Downstream consumption in China’s spot market cooled markedly after copper prices rebounded.
Inflow of imported copper amid rising SHFE/LME copper price ratio will keep market supply ample.
Besides, rising copper stocks on the LME and SHFE will prove a drag on copper price.
Another 10% expect copper price to consolidate.
